My 2018 Recap

Happy New Year's Eve!!!!! I am truly humbled to be in a position to share my life experiences with you on my website, my services and through social media. This year has been mainly productive, but some months were tough to get through. Check out my 2018 recap list below and I look forward to what's to come in my life beginning tomorrow and I can't wait to see you on the other side, in 2019.



*Mentally and physically let go of my past and my past mistakes.


*The father of my oldest children passed away tragically (traveled to Chicago for the funeral).


*Started the official journey to becoming a full-time lifestyle blogger and consultant.


*Started a new job at a domestic violence shelter.


*Attended the Purpose in Pajamas event with iPray Pretty brand and business.

*Attended the Slave Dwelling Project Sleepover at Prospect Hill (near Natchez, MS).


*My daughter graduated from high school (traveled to Chicago to attend the graduation).

*My play Karma in NOLA casting call began.

*Attended a Black Women's Brunch event that really inspired me as a black woman.


*Attended Essence Festival for the first time.

*Transitioned to natural hair officially.

*Attended family reunion in Atlanta (mom's side of the family).

*Visited Tyler Perry Studios (welcome ground area) in Atlanta.


*Karma in NOLA production began.

*Became a columnist for Thy Sistas website.

*Became the Unit Production Manager on film set of MaDonna's House.


*Launched my new website (you are viewing the current website).

*3 Months Post Relaxer mark and big chopped my hair. Check out my blog post about my natural hair journey thus far, here:


*Launched new Felicia T. Simpson logo.

*Felicia T. Simpson became a registered business.

*Started new service for my business: Discovery Calls


* Hosted first live webinar course.

* Celebrated my year in a one day trip to Miami

* Launched my online store
