Last night on social media, I posted this quote as a caption under my picture because it perfectly described my current thoughts about myself. Here’s the quote below:

I like to self-reflect periodically in different stages in my life to ensure that my thoughts are in alignment with who I am and that my actions are showing consistency in following the instructions of my thoughts.

On social media, I sometimes get upset when I see women who are already beautiful on the inside and out, only show pictures of their body and playing it off as their #OOTD (outfit of the day), or the gym pics that show spandex attire but no real proof of a workout or my favorite, the go to the beach and all I see is ass in bikinis throughout your entire vacation. To me, those type of pictures reek low self-esteem and I want to just virtually hug every woman I see do that and let them know that one must love thyself first, in all ways. I know, I know, it’s their page and they can do as they want.
Love yourself, because you are teaching people how to treat you! If all you can show the world wide web is your body everyday, you need a new hobby. Please don’t get me started on the careers of the Instagram models…….I don’t have time today, tomorrow or NEVER! How does one qualify to be a IG model? What credentials are needed? Speaking of Instagram……
Eudoxie (Ludacris beautiful wife) posted on IG a pic of herself to confirm that she was not pregnant and explained some reasons why she always cover her body. Later in her IG stories, she reposted the picture and added text that said basically she covers up her body because her butt is big and she doesn’t want negative attention. Praise her ministry of loving thyself!!!!!!
We all have flaws, we all have had some low and high moments in our lives, but the most important thing you can do in life is love yourself. Loving yourself will keep you from a lot of negative things and people or it will help you avoid unhealthy relationships, or unhealthy eating habits in your life.
